Zombie Studios, an independant game developer has reached an agreement with Fox Atomic and production company Union Entertainment to produce and develop its new franchise "Blacklight" as a movie, video game, as well as a comic series.
Blacklight is set 25 years in the future as a action military epic. The feature film will be written by Jason Dean Hall, who is also writing with DreamWorks as well as Universal.
Zombie Studios CEO Mark Long states, “From the start, I have envisioned Blacklight as a story that spans all of the forms of media I enjoy most. It’s an ambitious project and I’ve been fortunate to find partners at Fox Atomic and Union who share that same vision. We are cooperating on the comic, game and movie at levels that are unprecedented in the industry.”
The movie, game and comic will all center around the same characters as well as on military action and intertwining storylines that will compliment one another. The game will be a multiplatform release. No release date at this time has been announced.
