Q-Games is set to unveil the newest entry into their PixelJunk series next week at GDC, according to the press invite to Sony's Blog Lounge. Dylan Cuthbert, founder of Q-Games, revealed PixelJunk Eden last year at GDC, and weill be returning to show off their latest project.
The game, tenatively known as PixelJunk Eden 4, will be in a playable form at the trade show as well. The new PixelJunk game was first mentioned in an interview with Q-Games Studio Director Kentaro Yoshida. Yoshida teased the game was on schedule for an early 2009 release, and that "2D graphics have been a hallmark of the series so far, but we are looking to incorporate 3D graphics and take the series in new directions".
The PixelJunk franchise is a line up of popular PSN titles, and includes PixelJunk Monsters and PixelJunk Eden.
