Capcom really knows how to create a frenzy when it comes to the Resident Evil franchise. For weeks now, we've been prodded, poked and generally teased regarding the new downloadable content for Resident Evil 5.
Available from tomorrow, the DLC will set you back $5.88  and includes the following new multiplayer modes:

Slayer: A point-based game that challenges players to kill Majinis.
Survivor: Players hunt the most dangerous game, each other!

Players can pick from Chris, Sheva and any of the hidden characters in a one-on-one or two-versus-two setting for either gameplay mode.

Whether or not you liked the game, it is good to see another developer besides Criterion, come out with DLC that extends the life of the game, rather than just being a pointless affectation. Costumes and what not are all fine, but at the end of the day, you need something to keep you coming back, even if it costs just that little bit.
