Sucker Punch's upcoming super hero action game InFamous has been officially labeled by the ESRB, and the UK and Australia's equivalent, the BBFC and OFLC. The game managed to squeak by with a T for Teen or equivalent rating across the boards, with no content being cut in any version. This is great news for gamers worldwide, especially so for Australia gamers, who have seen the OFLC's affinity towards the banhammer a few times over the past year.
InFamous' arch-nemesis, Radical Entertainment's Prototype is expected to be rated Mature by the ESRB, and has already been rated the M equivalent by the BBFC.
InFamous is a sandbox action adventure game, developed by Sucker Punch, the creative minds behind the critically acclaimed Sly Cooper franchise. The highly anticipated title is due out in North America on May 26, exclusively for the PS3. A demo for the title is also planned for a May 7 release. |
