Sega's US Blog has just posted upsome news regarding a recent sales increase for Valykria Chronicles in the US and Japan. The game saw a significant sales jump in North America where it came fifth in sales ranking for PS3 games, and this doesn't include Gamestop sales. Japanese sales for the game saw an even more significant increase in sales, with Valkyria Chronicles being the highest selling game on Amazon in Japan last week.

Sega has put the newfound success of the game down to the release of the new DLC, and to a great amount of promotion from fans of the game. In Japan the game was also re-released at a lower price, this coupled with the Valkyria Chronicles anime which is currently airing in Japan, has led to an increase in sales for the fantastic game.
