THQ and Khaos Studios have been working on an unknown franchise for some time now, and we've all been in the dark. Fear not though, PlayStation lovers, because THQ has announced it. It, being Homefront, a tactical first person shooter for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Homefront puts you in the shoes of an American civilian 10 years after the collapse of the American economy. The Koreans have begun an invasion on your land, and your job is to drive them back however you can.

Because, we haven't heard this story before.

Aside from a rather basic story though, the game does boast a 50 player online, with dedicated servers hosted by Kaos Studios themselves. That could be interesting, to say the least. THQ is planning to release more on Homefront at E3, so keep checking back with us for the update.
