Tomorrow is the day, Killzone fans. Patch 1.27 will be going live, and with it, a few features which you might like.
In a recent interview with VideoGamer.com, Lead Multiplayer Designer Eric Boltjes revealed some of the new features and fixes going into patch 1.27. Among some of the changes, the most notable will be the way players can interact with their friends, as well as a few tweaks to the skirmish mode, but here's the full list of major feature changes you can expect to find:
-Friend Interaction: Now it's easier to interact with friends online. The “Join Friend” option lets you join their squad and faction, regardless of whether balancing is on or not. Also, the change is persistent, letting you keep playing with friends.
-Tweaks to Skirmish Mode: All the badges have been unlocked, allowing new players to be able to stand a chance against the more experienced players.
-High Precision controller mode: Allows a more sensitivity for the analog sticks, allowing for quicker response. The mode will be turned off by default, unless you are a new player to the game.
-Balancing changes: Players are now able to switch factions manually throughout the match.
-Spawn Point changes: Players spawning at spawn points that aren't in their base are now vulnerable as soon as they spawn.
-Badge Changes: The Assault Badge Armor ability now gives the players 50 hit points, instead of 100. The Tactician's Flying Sentry Bot is now more powerful, with better accuracy and more health. They also aren't targeted by ground based sentries as often.
So there you have it, Killzone 2 v1.27. Of course, you can expect a few minor changes too, but these were the changes we knew you would find interesting. |
