Well, E3 is finally upon us, and countless gamers were anticipating news about Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5. Unfortunately, it looks like we may be kept waiting even longer still. VG247 is reporting that Sony has told reporters not to ask Kazunor Yamauchi (the head of PD) questions about the overdue GT5.

With news of Gran Turismo Mobile for the PSP Go having been leaked just days ago, it would appear that Sony is trying to focus attention on the portable title rather than the console iteration. This is undoubtedly dissapointing news to the thousands of fans who were hoping Sony would finally reveal the details of GT5, and perhaps even the launch date. Of course, there is always the possibility that Sony is simply trying to prevent leaks about the title until their press conference tomorrow, but that seems rather unlikely at this point.
