As if Left 4 Dead 2 wasn't already the subject of some big controversy this past month, now even more fuel has been added to flames.  EA's site has a PS3 version of the title listed for a fall 2009 release.  A typo, you say?  Not looking likely, they even have it listed a second time on their list of upcoming PS3 games, complete with PS3-branded cover art mock ups.

It looks like Left 4 Dead may just have Left 4 PS3 after all - our only concern now is that hopefully EA has learned from the Orange Box fiasco.  Put this one down as a rumor until we've heard back from EA, but this one is looking pretty bright for PS3 owners.

Left 4 Dead 2 is a multiplayer zombie shooter, developed by Valve.  The game was announced earlier this month at Microsoft's E3 press conference as an XBox 360 exclusive.
