Though the Juiced franchise was definitely a bit rough around the edges, it was a pretty innovative racing franchise for the time it came out. All in all, both games combined to sell over 3 million copies across a few platforms, and has even developed a pretty small group of hardcore followers.
These fans will definitely be pleased to hear that there may just be a new Juiced game in the works. UK developer Juce Games has recently posted a few new job openings for "an unannounced arcade racing game". The game is being developed "for console platforms including PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360", and calls for artists who can "design and create exciting urban and rural circuits" for the racing game.
Juice Games was previously working on a flight sim called Stormbirds, which was canceled earlier this year for being too risky of a project, and t's a pretty logical assumption that the team would return to their cash cow following that. We've contacted THQ in the meanwhile, so stay tuned for more on that!
