Remember Kane and Lynch? Well, depending on the reviewer you asked, it was either great or got "lynched." Bad puns aside, it appears as though Eidos is ready to hit the sequel button and has filed trademarks for the name Kane and Lynch 2: Dog days, both with and without the colon.
They've also filed trademark registration for Fragile Alliance, which was the name of their multiplayer mode in the original. You might be asking: "does the colon mean that much?" Well, trademarks are tricky business and just like domains that are erroneously spelled, it can mean big bucks for someone if they trademarked it before Eidos. Not something the company would want as it can mean a lot of lost revenue and the concept is Eidos' intellectual property after all.
