At E3 earlier this summer, Sony confirmed that God of War III would be hitting American shelves March 2010, in line with the release schedule of the previous titles in the franchise. To date, however, Sony has been quiet in regards to their worldwide release schedule of the game.
Good news for Sony fans worldwide, though! The latest issue of Famitsu magazine confirms that God of War III will also be releasing in Japan in March 2010. For the first time, Sony will be publishing the title in Japan as well, after Capcom published the previous entries into the franchise. With Japan and North America confirmed for a March 2010 release, it would seem that Sony is indeed aiming for a simultaneous worldwide release of the title. We've contacted Sony Europe for a comment, so stay tuned for more.
