Just yesterday Activision and Microsoft announced that a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 limited edition 250GB Xbox will be coming this fall. The good news is rumors were already flying around the web that Sony was planning a 250B PS3 bundle of some kind before that announcement came. With an FCC filing and retailers already reported its true, the fact that Microsoft was so quick to counter it only justifies it further.

However Engadget just got word that an Uncharted 2 250GB PS3 (slim) will be heading out way soon. Uncharted 2 is set to hit stores this October so it could be any time after that. Tokyo Game Show is next week and if this rumor is true, Sony is sure to announce it there. After further details from Sony, it looks like the rumor is already smashed for the US region but is still possible in the UK or other regions, which could include the Gran Turismo and Assassins Creed 2 bundles as well.
