In an interview with CGSociety, Ken Fieldman, art director at (SCEA) told them that God Of War would not only set the bar a bit higher for games in general, but that initially it was planned to be an FPS. Does anyone else see how horribly wrong this is? What has the world come to?
“I tried unsuccessfully to convince [Director] Stig to make ‘God of War III’ a first-person shooter,” said Fieldman. “Kratos could have some truly badass huge weapons that rip gods to shreds. Unfortunately he didn’t see the genius in the idea.”
