While many people are caught up anticipating the upcoming Uncharted 2, one game has slipped under the radar. My most anticipated game of the year, Ratchet and Clank Future : A Crack in Time, set to be released on October 27th. The good news comes today that the game is on schedule and has officially gone gold today. Gold is the term used when a game is finalized and sent off to the production plants and shipped to stores.

Along with that Insomniac noted to keep an eye on all the upcoming news and events for the exclusive coming before launch. This includes a video on the new GameInformer website, a special showing on G4's Xplay, and of course some give aways and goodies to be announced.
