Insomniac is by far one of the best developers on the PS3. With at least one game a year, their cycle continues this year with Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. However is that all Insomniac has in store for us? They already have a secret game in the works that lacks any info for us, but what about Resistance?

Well according to a NeoGaf post, Resistance 3 is well underway and will be coming very soon. Via a spotting on a the set of a movie, we see billboards advertising Resistance 3. Here are the pictures.

According to some research on what this could be. The movie is being called "Battle: Los Angeles" and being made by Columbia Pictures. Yes thats owned and operated by Sony Pictures. Further knowledge shows that the movie has basically the same story as Resistance as well, a soldier set to fight off an alien invasion in Los Angeles with his squad of soldiers. Most likely he is changing as well, but little info is known other than that and the fact that its set to release in 2011. Other than being hyped about alien movies making a come back, this has me wondering...could it possibly be a Resistance movie with a code name to through us off? Either way, Resistance 3 baby! Who else is amped up just to see that?
