As if the early 2010 schedule wasn't jam packed with amazing exclusives already, Sony is now hinting that they have the end of the year covered as well. Naming a few names you have Heavy Rain, God of War, MAG, Gran Turismo, and a few others heading before and during summer next year, however Sony has been ignoring the Fall line up for some reason. Now we know why.
According to PlayStation Magazine, Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 could both be hitting PS3 fans late next year. Insomniac is known for releasing one game a year, let alone switichng between Ratchet and Resistance, so this makes sense. Something from Insomniac will be hitting next year and if its Resistance 3, Sony wins right now.
Killzone 3 however is stated to be "deep in development" already, and with the Killzone 2 engine being so mind blowing why wouldn't it be? Killzone 2 took years to create for one very reason, GG was creating one of the best engines to date to make it all work. We would be more than happy to see them go at it again and see what they make of it. Combine the two games and right off the bat you have one absolutely amazing lineup of games.
Along with stating this, they also mentioned that a Call of Duty World at War 2 will be on the way. Unlike COD Modern Warfare 2, I don't think either Killzone or Resistance need to worry. As of now please regard these as rumors and nothing more, we are trying to get word from Sony to get some type of confirmation for you, but as of now rumor! Got it!? Ok...
