The YLOD has recently become an issue for a few PS3 owners, and whilst you can pay Sony to get the console fixed for up to $150, there was already a guide available so that you could attempt a fix on your beloved console.

Now a new website has popped up, claiming to give you full instructions on how to fix your PS3, and provide you with a "full guarantee".

Instead of succumbing to this obvious scam, we'd recommend visiting this forum post of our good friends PlayStation LifeStyle. I'm sure it's a hell of a lot more in depth and best of all, free.
