Just about a month ago, I wrote a piece exploring some vaporware PS3 titles.  One such title was the Twin Peaks-inspired Rainy Woods, developed by Marvelous Entertainment. 

Flash forward two years since it was last shown at TGS, and the title has finally resurfaced under the name of Deadly Premonition.  The game will be published abroad by Ignition Entertainment, though it has now been secured as a XBox 360 exclusive title, according to the press release.

Or is it?  The new teaser trailer accompanying the game's reintroduction gives PS3 fans some hope that the game will be available on their platform of choice.  Towards the end of the trailer, a shooting segment is show that clearly shows the game is being played on the PS3.

We wrote to Ignition to try to clarify this, and they told us the game indeed was exclusive to the 360. When pressed about the PS3 interface in the trailer, they commented that they could only confirm what was in the press release. My guess is that the title will be 360 exclusive in the US but multiplatform abroad.
