It's been a while since we've heard anything from the creative genius behind Twisted Metal and God of War, David Jaffe.  After getting involved in an intense twitter debate over used game sales, Jaffe said he would be focusing more on his game and less on providing drama for the internet community.  He deleted his twitter and closed up his blog, and has been MIA for the past 3 months.  Since then, the economic recession in the US has taken a huge down turn, Kanye West has been running wild, and I think I died a little bit on the inside.

What exact game Jaffe is working on still has PS3 enthusiasts scratching their chin.  Many have divined that Jaffe and his new start up, Eat Sleep Play, are working on a new Twisted Metal game.  This speculation comes as the result of leaked info from Jaffe's blog, such as this e-mail to ESP co-founder Scott Campbell.

It seems like all those murmurs could be completely wrong, though.  According to a new job posting, the team may be working on some sort of online action game.  The listing makes says the studio is looking for Sr. Online Software Engineer with experience working on "Internet-playable action games (30fps or better)".  The right candidate will also have experience working on the PlayStation 3 and PSP platforms.

Jaffe has stated before that he believes his game will be shown sometime during 2010, possibly even at E3.
