Modern Warfare 2 has everyone whipped up into a frenzy, smashing all sorts of sales records.  And now, some seedy journalist is trying to take advantage of Modern Warfare mania by trying to sell of their Modern Warfare 2 press kit. 

This Modern Warfare 2 press kit just popped up an eBay, starting at $49.99.  The winning bidder won't even get a copy of the game for his money, just the the disc containing all the assets and info on the game.  Now, there have been some pretty nice price kits in the past, with all sorts of goodies, that might be valuable to collectors - the Modern Warfare 2 press kit is not one of them.

The bigger thing is that we've increasingly been seeing press materials being pawned off an eBay for a quick buck.  Earlier this year, the Killzone 2 press kit sold for close to $600, and the early DJ Hero press copies also hit just a month ago.
