Apparently, its not all bad in the land of games and honey. At least, not according to industry analyst Michael Patcher, who is getting ready to release a "state of the union" style report later this week. Highlights include the stunner that is Modern Warfare 2, predicting that the game is sold 6 million units in the month of November and is almost single-handedly responsible for pulling the industry out of its nosedive.
Something else worth noting is that the PS3, according to the report, has had sales in excess of 700,000 in November as well, an 85% increase and it continues to gain ground. This of course can be attributed to the cut in price, a redesign and a marketing campaign that touts the features that the console has beyond being just a gaming machine.
