In an interview last year, Sony's Kaz Hirai mentioned that they would be working with publishers to ensure they made full use of the extra space allowed for with Blu Ray. While some publishers have done that by including playable demos on the disc, EA has taken it one step further with the newly announced "Divine Edition" of Dante's Inferno.
Available for the standard retail price of $59.99, the PS3 exclusive Divine Edition will come packed with extra goodies. EA has announced it will come with developer commentaries, a Wayne Barlowe digital art book, the soundtrack to the game and a digital version of the complete Longfellow translation of Dante Alighieri’s Inferno, all stored directly on the PS3 game disc.
A Dante's Inferno demo is slated to hit the PSN later today, allowing players to go hands on with the entire first level of the game. Dante's Inferno will hit shelves on February 9, 2010, on the PS3 and Xbox 360. |
