The Video Game Awards were earlier this evening, I had to wait until now to actually watch them on my TV, living on the West coast and all. However we are not here to spoil the announcements for all of those that DVR'd the awards, instead we are here to spoil the announcements that will make you wet your pants anyways.

It was hyped up for weeks with several clues and "leaks" leading up to the show, so the announcements had to come through as big. Which they did! We got a new Medal of Honor, showcasing its new modern combat and fantastic graphics. It was the first game I got extremely excited for just by seeing the first few seconds, cant wait! Then of course a massive announcement for geeks like me, Batman Arkham Asylum 2! When WB supposedly leaked a list of games earlier this year and it had Batman 2 on it, we went crazy. The first was amazing. Well now its official and it seems its going to take place in or closer to Gotham, and from the sounds of it, Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy will be returning! Another game that got me extremely hyped up is Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 with its cinimatic trailer, set to release in 2010.

There were several others as well. A new Spec Ops game was announced, and unlike the others, actually looks very promising. Along with that you have a new UFC 2010, Prince of Persia (as rumored), Deadliest Warrior, and True Crime heading your way soon as well! Check out all the trailers for each game on the VGA website!
