New details have emerged on Gran Turismo 5 coming from Polyphony Digital and headed to the PS3.

Polyphony Digital has announced that they are going to be bringing a brand way to play Gran Turismo with new in-car viewpoints for the next-gen Gran Turismo 5.

Polyphony made the confirmation at a French motorsports show when they stated that the cars will be in full 3D to digitize it completely. It is going to be absolutely amazing to see the dashboards and interiors of every single car and shows a sign of just how detailed Polyphony is going with the next-gen Gran Turismo as they revolutionize the racer once again.

"To translate the real car into 3D, we use data and assets provided by the car manufacturers, but we also use a scanner that completely digitizes a car," Yamauchi told the show. "Here’s a scoop: We’re also modeling the dashboards because you can drive from the interior view in the upcoming Gran Turismo 5."

Hopefully we will get even more news at E3 and possibly some information in regards to when this absolute gem will be in our PS3s!
