Electronic Arts has stated that the $199 price tag showing up on Amazon as well as GameStop and EB Games for Rock Band is false and that the game will have a reasonable price point when it launches on the Xbox 360 and PS3 this November.

EA stated that the price point which has been released to the public is nothing more than pure speculation on the parts of the retailers.

EA stated that there will be a "reasonable price" which they will charge for the game.

The Guitar Hero developers Harmonix are almost set to reveal all information in regards to their biggest game to date with Rock Band as the price has been under speculation as it will ship with a drum set, guitar, and microphone all along with the game.

EA stated that a reasonable price would be given to Rock Band. Does that reasonable price put it above the $199 or below the $199 that is being speculated at this point? That is the big question as Rock Band gets closer to release on the Xbox 360 and PS3 this November!
