One other note which they did state was that Chris Benoit has been removed from the upcoming Smackdown vs. Raw game headed to all major consoles, which is no surprise and actually extremely appropriate.
If you remember the original two Red Faction games used a technology called GeoMod which allowed players to blast away at their environment and basically destroy anything they desired from rock walls, to buildings in order to make paths in the game.
The technology of the PS2 and Xbox were not advanced enough to really push this but with the power of the PS3 and Xbox 360 the Red Faction franchise will be back in a big way.
