Heavenly Sword, Not The God of War For PS3

According to reviews from critics Heavenly Sword may not do for the PS3 what God of War did for the PS3.

IGN has fully reviewed the PS3 version of Heavenly Sword and the game was not received very well. They gave it a 7.0 score which marks it as a "decent" game according to the highly popular publication.

IGN stated that the graphics, sound, and presentation of the game were absolutely stellar and right on par with what a PS3 game should look and sound like.

The problem they had with it though was the gameplay and longevity of the game which received a 6.0 rating.

This may not be good for PS3 owners as many were hopeful that this would fill the God of War void on the PS3 and has been labeled by many prior to launch as a God of War killer. It seems though that the wait for the real Kratos on PS3 will continue.

Its actually a bad review as they made out that the gameplay was easily better than a 6.0. They game the sound 8.5 and talked about the acting. The CGI sequences have to be the most impressive I've seen. They didn't do the motion capture and then record the dialogue in a sound room. The acted the whole scene with motion capture and sound simultaneously. They plyed out the whole scenes and implemented it in the scene. I have yet to see a game that has done it better. The audio cannot get any better. Previosly site have claimed that its the best sound they have heard in a game and I bet IGN said this as well but they give Sound a 8.5. I don't believe the sound got worse especially when there's about 10gb of audio on the disc. The bitrates would be better than any 360 game. In fact every 360 game I've played they all have bad sound as its so compressed. Even Bioshocks although amazing game doesn't have impressive sound. But its a 360 game, if Heavenly Sword was on 360 and not PS3, and due to the storage restrictions the 360 version had more compressed sound and was poor quality and the cut-scenes had been of a lesser quality like many 360 games. It still would have scored higher than 7.0 on IGN. The biased f**ks.
