The reviews for the recently released PS3 game Heavenly Sword have been a mixed bag thus far but a developer for Heavenly Sword has called them harsh.

Co-founder of Ninja Theory and Chief Developer for Heavenly Sword Nine Kirstensen stated that there will be no downloadable content for Heavenly Sword on the PS3.

She also stated that she thought that the reviews were a bit harsh.

She stated when asked about some 6 scores the game has been receiving that "I think a 6 is harsh but you can’t take it too personally. The team’s put an enormous effort into Heavenly Sword and I’m proud of what we’ve been able to achieve this time around. We’ll certainly be looking at the criticisms as well as feedback generally for our next games. There’s always room for improvement and we already have some cool ideas about where we want to take combat next to make it even more engaging and dramatic. "

She stated that for Heavenly Sword they wanted to focus on making the best single player offline experience they possibly could without having to worry about anything else and spread themselves too thin.
