IGN has reviewed the Xbox 360 version of FIFA 08 from EA Sports and it appears that Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is going to enjoy the top spot as the best soccer game once again.
IGN gave it a score of a 7.7 out of 10 which is not that bad. The lowest grade through is on the most important aspect of the game, the gameplay. They stated that their is a very lacking amount of goal scoring opportunities which actually bring the game down quite a bit.
IGN stated that "As often seems the case with FIFA, this version comes laden with promises of what they’ll do next year. This year’s effort is a perfectly playable game and in the short term at least is fairly addictive, despite the various foibles. There’s much to admire in terms of the graphics, the online elements, the atmosphere, but as ever there’s still room for improvement. Maybe next year..." |
