2K Games has been hard at work developing something special for all BioShock owners. So if your grubby little paws have yet to touch the game, this may make that change.

2K has just announced that the first DLC update for the PS3 version of BioShock will be released tomorrow via the PlayStation Store update. The content is called PS3 Challenge Rooms Add-on Content pack and will add 3 additional challenge rooms for players to test their skills in various ways. Players will need to save “Little Sisters” in situations such as fighting off swarms of Splicers with limited ammo and gear.

2K also added that the update will feature something called “ New Game Plus” which will allow you to restart the game with whatever weapons and gear you collected in a previous complete play through. It was noted that the new feature will allow players to more easily access harder trophies the second time through.

The content will be available tomorrow for $9.99 via the PlayStation Store.
