| Sony launches Web Portal For Its PS3 Service Home Posted by gamer28 on November 26, 2008 Sony has launched a new web portal for its long-awaited PS3 social networking service Home, adding weight to the claims that the service should arrive before the end of the year. The site describes PlayStation Home as: "3D social gaming community that allows PlayStation 3 users to meet, chat, plan, and launch into games together. You can create your own custom avatar, decorate your personal apartment, play mini-games, shop, watch videos, attend special events, and much more." It also gives details on three mini-games to be featured on the service, including Uncharted Space, Bowling Alley and Far Cry 2 Space.
