The original Red Faction games were a hit among the FPS fans and the series is returning this June. The game continues the story 50 years from the original as you take on the role of a Mars insurgent as he seeks liberation from the Earth Defense Force. Sound interesting? Well THQ just announced that you will not have to wait till June to give it a try.

Coming this April THQ will release an early demo of Red Faction Guerrilla for PC, 360, and PlayStation 3 online. The demo will be a single player level that will allow you to try out a variety of the weapons, combat moves, and even the various vehicles that will be found throughout the final game.

If that wasn't enough info for the Red Faction fans out there and you can't wait to get your hands on the game, there is more. Head over to Gamestop and pre-order the game before April 3^rd to get exclusive early access to the demo. The demo is scheduled to be released April 3^rd for pre-orders and April 23^rd for non pre-orders. The full game is scheduled to release this June.
