Rockstar held a presentation behind closed doors at the GamesCom convention at Cologne last week. The main focus was their titles planned for fiscal 2009, including The Ballad of Gay Tony, GTA: Chinatown Wars PSP, and Red Dead Redemption, which are under embargo until September 22.
However, they did mention L.A. Noire, specifically reinforcing that the title was still under development. No new details about the game were revealed, however.
L.A. Noire was originally announced as a PS3 exclusive in 2006, when it made it's debut at E3. In 2007, Take Two later mentioned the game was being developed for multiple platforms and would be delayed until fiscal 2009. Since then, new information on the title has been non-existant, with the exception of some concept art that recently surfaced. |
